Your Soul Contract holds the key to money and abundance blocks

Talking about money, wealth and abundance can feel a little heavy.

It brings up all sorts of ideas and emotions, so I want to start by saying I don’t speak about it lightly. I’m not here as an expert in wealth or finances. But where I do hold a depth of experience is in understanding the energy patterns within the Soul Contract, which is an underlying blueprint that shapes our inner world and outer reality.

And those patterns absolutely influence our relationship with money, abundance, and ultimately, with ourselves.

Today I wanted to share a few reflections on how our Soul Contract can help us understand and shift the way we relate to abundance. Not just in a material sense, but as a deeper energetic state of being.

What creates our limiting beliefs around money?

When we think about money, wealth, and abundance, it’s easy to view our experiences through the lens of who we are right now.

But the truth is, who we are in this moment is layered. Imagine yourself as the centre of an onion, surrounded by rings upon rings of conditioning, ancestral influences, karmic imprints, soul memories, past lives, and energetic patterns that stretch across time and space.

We don’t arrive at our beliefs about money out of nowhere.

They’re shaped by family stories, especially maternal and paternal patterns. They’re influenced by cultural conditioning, inherited wounds, and the specific energy of our Soul Contract. So if you’ve ever wondered why you struggle with self-worth, why receiving feels hard, or why abundance seems just out of reach, just know that it’s not always just about your present-day thoughts.

What do our beliefs around abundance really mean?

The first step in working with abundance is getting really honest with ourselves. What do I believe about money? Do I believe I’m worthy of having it? Do I trust that I can attract it, hold it, and use it in ways that feel good? How do I feel when I think about receiving or spending?

These might sound like surface-level questions, but they often point us straight into the heart of our deeper emotional landscape. Our relationship with money reflects our relationship with ourselves, and even more so, our relationship with Source, God, or the universe. It’s all connected.

Abundance it really all about love.

We can say things like “I am abundant” or “I am worthy,” and those affirmations are powerful, but the key is to go beyond just saying the words. We need to feel them in our bodies as truth because embodiment and grounding into our beliefs really matters. If the words feel hollow, that’s okay, it just means there’s an invitation to explore what’s in the way of fully feeling them.

At the same time, something beautiful happens the more we speak those truths, even before we fully believe them. Over time, repetition creates resonance. We start to shift. We start to believe. And eventually, the words become lived experiences.

Soul Contract numbers: the energies of 3 and 4

In the Soul Contract system (which you can explore here), certain number patterns are particularly connected to abundance, and two energies come up time and again: the 3 and the 4.

You might see these as single numbers like 3-3 or 4-4, or in combinations like 12-3, 21-3, 13-4, or 22-4. Each of these holds a slightly different flavour, but at their core, the 3s and 4s have a strong relationship to themes of self-worth, trust, and flow, which are all essential when it comes to abundance.

The energy of the 3: self-worth and expression

The 3 energy is all about self-worth.

People with this energy often find it hard to go deep within themselves. There’s a tendency to stay on the surface, to keep things light or avoid emotional discomfort. But 3s are here to do the opposite. They’re here to dive deep into their inner world, feel what’s really there, and then express and communicate that truth out into the world.

It’s not always easy. Threes can carry a failure-oriented mindset, or a sense of martyrdom - a belief that they’re not good enough, or that they have to suffer through things alone. But their path is one of reclaiming confidence and stepping into their full worth.

They are here to know, feel, and own the truth: “I am good enough. I am capable. I am here to be seen and heard.”

When a 3 moves through the layers of numbness or self-doubt and begins to feel (really feel) that truth, everything changes, because their abundance starts within. And once they access that inner sense of worth and value, they can bring their gifts forward and share them beautifully with the world.

The energy of the 4: trust and flow

The 4s have a different but equally powerful journey.

Their relationship with abundance is about trust: trust in themselves, trust in the universe, and trust in the loving flow of life. Imagine a stream flowing freely - the 4s often feel like they’re standing on the banks, watching the flow but not quite in it. Their work is to step into that stream and allow themselves to be supported by the current of universal love and abundance.

For many 4s, there’s a wound of broken trust, often rooted in childhood, experiences of emotional abandonment, instability, or trauma. And when trust is fractured, it’s hard to believe the universe has your back, so scarcity becomes the default setting.

But 4s are here to rebuild that trust and shift from “I have to do it all alone” into “I am unconditionally supported.” And as that trust grows, they begin to feel it not just intellectually but in their bodies and lives. They learn to receive. They come into flow. And from there, they can share their abundance in ways that feel natural and nourishing.

Creating outer abundance from inner abundance

If you happen to have both 3s and 4s in your soul contract, this lifetime is a powerful one. You’re being called to move out of scarcity and into a deeper knowing of your inherent worth and the ever-present support available to you.

You’re here to feel worthy, seen, and confident, from within, and to then connect with outer abundance by trusting in the loving energy that holds you. The 3 helps you feel it inside and the 4 helps you receive it from the outside, and together, they create a beautiful harmony that invites you to step fully into your purpose and share your gifts with the world.

Wherever you are in your journey with abundance, be gentle with yourself. It’s okay if it feels messy. It’s okay if it’s still unfolding. There’s no need to rush the process. These are deep layers we’re working with, and they deserve our patience and care.
