The Heart Energy of the 7-7 in the Soul Contract
The experience of 7-7 in Your Soul Contract
I felt a great pull to talk about the beautiful 7-7 energy in the Soul Contract.
The 7-7 energy is very close to my heart, because I have a lot of it in my own Soul Contract. So this isn’t just something I’ve read about or studied – it’s something I live with. And today we’re focusing on what it means when seven is showing up in your chart. You might have a 7-7, you might have a 16-7, but we’re really looking at the 7 energy itself.
And if you’re ready to understand the numbers in your Soul Contract, download a personalised Soul Contract Report (4-page Summary or Full 120-page report) to get you started.
I love exploring the Soul Contract with people. I love looking at why there have been certain challenges in your life, and where you have the potential to step into in this lifetime. That is my joy. Because I really do find that the more we know ourselves, the more we can come into command of our lives. Not in a “whoa, I’m in the wind and I’m out of control” way. More in a, “I know what this wind is.”
It’s not about being in control, it’s about being in command. It’s a subtle difference, but it matters.
The heart-opening energy of the 7-7
The first thing I’ll say about the 7-7 energy is that it’s all about the heart. 7-7 is a master number. In the Soul Contract system, five out of the twenty-two numbers are master numbers so when you have one of these showing up, your chart is quite catalytic. There’s power there!
7-7 is heart-centred. It’s about unifying within yourself first, and then helping others to unify. It’s an energy of integration, of coming into wholeness.
What I find with most people who carry strong 7s - and it does depend where the seven is showing up - is that there is often heartbreak somewhere in the story. And heartbreak can come for many, many different reasons. It’s so unique to you. But the 7s are here to move through that heartbreak and mend their hearts back into wholeness.
7s are also very sensitive. That’s part of the dynamic I love about them. They can be real extroverts and real introverts, and swing quite merrily between the two. They can be wonderful with other people, very engaging, very open. And yet often there’s a mask - and that extrovert quality can sometimes be a layer.
Underneath, the journey is much more intimate. It’s about saying, “I accept myself. I embrace myself. I love myself.” As you can see, we come back to the heart again and again with this energy in the Soul Contract.
Letting go of shame
A big theme with the 7-7 energy is getting to the core wound of shame (which is one of my favourite things to dive into).
All of us carry shame. Shame for things we’ve done, things we’ve said, things we’ve experienced. But there is also a soul imprint of shame that can come from other lifetimes, other realities. The soul carries it, and we, as the conscious personality, host that soul energy within us, and so the shame is imprinted into this lifetime.
We move through different archetypal roles across lifetimes; from perpetrator to victim, and eventually into wisdom. And when we have been the persecutor - which we all have at some point - we can carry this deep imprint of shame. A very hidden, very buried sense of “I am rotten at my core. I should be terribly ashamed of myself.”
Yes, it’s deep!
You may not consciously resonate with that as it’s a very core programme and our shadow tends to be hidden behind layers and layers and layers of subconscious programming. This is why in Divine Healing sessions – which I offer – we work in layers. You cannot throw shadow work in at the beginning of someone’s healing. It’s too much. There’s a chart from my level four training that maps the shadow in layers, and it makes so much sense - we have to go so gently with this work.
Because shadow is the part we turn away from. It’s the part where we think, “Oh my God, that is the worst thing. I cannot look at that.”
But with the 7-7 energy, we are here to look. We are here to unify within ourselves and unify with Source. We come to Earth and we experience separation and disconnection. And then we are invited back into wholeness, into oneness, into remembrance of who we are and where we came from.
This is a big challenge for all of us.
The challenge to embrace who we truly are
And something I always come back to – especially with the 7s – is that we are not here to reject past versions of ourselves. You cannot get rid of who you were. You cannot cut them off. You can only integrate them. Accept them. Understand that who you were then is part of who you are now. It’s an evolution.
I’ve made this mistake so many times myself. “I have to let go. I have to let go.” Yes, sometimes we do need to release. But we also have to embrace. We have to say, “Ah, this is not something to be ashamed of, this is part of me.”
Only when we embrace can we love. And only when we love all parts of ourselves – even the parts we don’t like – can we truly step into the gifts of the 7-7 energy.
And the gifts are magnetic, catalytic and unifying, for ourselves as well as for others.
Once you have done this work for yourself, you naturally help others do it. That’s the joy of the 7-7. But first, it’s personal. For me, with all of my 7-7 energy in my chart, I am first here in the physical to accept, embrace and love myself, and to step out into the world. That’s something I work very hard on. And only then can I truly hold space for others to integrate, to heal, to bring themselves back into their own hearts.
While 7s can be shy and hide away, we are not here to stay hidden. We are here to come out of hiding, heal the wound of shame and learn to be our true selves and say, “hey world, here I am, this is me.” It’s a celebration of who we are!
Opening our hearts to the unifying energies within
Authenticity is everything for the 7-7 energy.
This is why I personally don’t want to spend time with people unless I feel I can be my true self with them. If I can’t, that’s a big red flag for me. Because safety is key. We need to feel safe to show who we truly are – first with one person, then maybe a few, and eventually with the world.
It’s about opening into vulnerability, and vulnerability is not weakness. It is strength and the doorway back to the heart.
While this is only a short deep dive into the 7-7 energy (and yes we did go deep), I always like to remind people that no number works in isolation.
There is a tapestry flowing through all the different numbers in your chart. There’s also a tapestry flowing from your parents, who imprint us as children with their Soul Contract energies. Then we can also look at our partnerships, the people we’re closest to, and you begin to see how all these energies weave together.
Ultimately, the 7-7 energy is truly beautiful, tender, and brave. And ultimately, it is here to remember love – and to help others remember it too.
